I got the "Infestation" event but after 7 weeks going by I haven't seen a single Crimson Court enemy. I have new batches of lower level characters to access the Courtyard. I'm playing on a post-game save (beat all Darkest Dungeons) to get to new content quicker. When you say "slowly" just how slowly do you mean? The Gatekeeper, if killed before he can escape, will drop an Invitation. When the infestation level reaches HIGH (around week 8-10), you will start to encounter monster groups that include the "Gatekeeper". Courtyard pests will begin to slowly appear in other regions.
